Welcome to Porchfest! We're thrilled to have you join in the fun, music, and community spirit. Before we get started, we've got a few rules and guidelines to make sure everyone has a great time—and stays safe!
Keep your tunes rocking, but not so loud that they drown out the music from other porches. Let's keep it below a reasonable decibel level to ensure everyone can enjoy the event without overwhelming each other. If you're unsure, just ask us! Remember, if your music requires ear-splitting volume to get your point across, Porchfest might not be the best place for you. Let’s make sure everyone can hear and enjoy all the talented performers.
We're sharing the village with cars, pedestrians, and maybe a rogue squirrel or two. Keep an eye out for traffic and be mindful of the roads. Safety first! If you need to cross the street, please do so carefully and always watch for oncoming vehicles. Let's all look out for each other and make sure everyone stays safe throughout the event.
Porchfest is all about peace, love, and music. No violence, please. Leave the mosh pits at home and let's make sure everyone feels safe and welcome. This is a family-friendly event, so let’s create an environment where everyone, from kids to adults, feels comfortable and joyful.
We're guests here, so let's make sure we keep the area clean. Pick up after yourself, and if you see something out of place, lend a hand! Trash bags and bins will be available throughout the event area—please use them. Keeping the village clean ensures we’ll be welcome back next year, and it’s a simple way to show our appreciation to the community.
We love enthusiastic encores, but sticking to your time slot helps everything run smoothly. Let's respect the schedule so everyone gets their chance to shine. Each band has a set amount of time, and going over can cause delays for everyone else. Let’s be respectful of our fellow performers by keeping within our allotted time.
Everyone—bands, performers, fans—is responsible for their own actions. The village, the event hosts, and anyone else involved are not liable for any harm you might cause yourself. Stay safe, be smart. If you need assistance or have questions, our volunteers are here to help, but ultimately, your safety is in your hands.
Let's make sure we're wrapping things up and clearing out by 9:00 PM. Be courteous to the people who call this place home—keep off the lawns and be respectful of private property. Late-night activities at the bars are not part of Porchfest, and we are not associated with any events that may happen afterward. Please do not include our name in any incidents or activities that occur during these late-night hours.
Refer to the map for designated parking spots. And remember, the sidewalks may be a bit... quirky. The trees have had their way with them over the years, so watch your step! Please park only in designated areas and avoid blocking driveways or access points. Be mindful of where you walk, as some sidewalks can be uneven and tricky.
