Boonville’s first-ever Battle of the Bands is calling all local and regional bands to bring their best sound, stage presence, and raw talent.
Whether you’re a rock powerhouse, an indie sensation, or a genre-defying group, this is your chance to win big and make your mark on Porchfest.
The Opening Round kicks off on Saturday, where bands will compete for a spot in the Final Showdown on Sunday. With $800 cash and professional studio recording time on the line, the stakes are high. Only the best will advance—will your band rise to the top?
In addition to the prize money, the winning band will receive a professional recording session to take their sound to the next level.
Runner-up bands will receive honorary mentions and future performance opportunities!
A panel of industry professionals and community members will score bands based on:
Tightness, skill, and execution.
Creativity, engagement, and energy.
The crowd’s reaction matters—bring your fans and get them hyped!
The audience will also have a say—so make sure they’re loud!
(rock, blues, indie, folk, metal, alternative—you name it!)

Each band gets a 20-minute slot

All members must be at least 16 years old

We’ll provide a full PA system, microphones, drum kit, and amps. Just bring your instruments and any additional gear you need!

This is a rain-or-shine event! In case of extreme weather, we’ll have a backup plan in place.
Yes! Bands are welcome to sell their merch at designated areas near the stage.
